On Saturday, August 5th, join us along the shores of Lake Michigan in Harbert, MI—just 80 miles from downtown Chicago—for this special mindfulness retreat. Whether it’s your first introduction to mindfulness or part of your ongoing practice, you’ll come away refreshed and reenergized with greater clarity, a renewed sense of purpose, and a toolkit of practices to integrate into daily life.
Led by Inseus Founder, Ashley Nelson, throughout the retreat, you’ll experience:
Various types of mindfulness meditations designed to increase focus & awareness and to help you connect with compassion & empathy.
Mindful movement practices, including walking meditation and gentle hatha yoga, to help you stretch your body and mind.
Various breathing and body awareness exercises to help you learn how to manipulate your nervous system in order to tame anxiety and reactivity.
A mindful eating experience, featuring a locally sourced, organic lunch
Our retreat will begin at 10 AM ET (9 AM CT) with coffee & light breakfast and brief time for socializing before our formal practice time gets underway.
